NRL Finals Preview Round 2

The Sydney Roosters Vs. North Queensland Cowboys, Friday 19th September, Allianz Stadium.

The Sydney Rooters take on the mighty NQL Cowboys in a blockbuster event on Friday night. The match is the first of two semi finals being played over the weekend and with the NRL Premiership at stake fans will not be disappointed. The Sydney Roosters come into the match as favorites, playing on their home turf. The roosters will be out to display what they as defending premiers are capable of with their backs against the wall. The NQL Cowboys will be dependent on one man to get them to the NRL Grand final and that man is Jonathan Thurston. If the Cowboys are to stand a chance in this match Thurston must put on a show and rally his team to the win. Sportsbet.com.au have the Sydney Roosters $1.45 head to head favorites, with the Cowboys at an attractive $2.45.

The Manly Sea Eagles Vs. Caterbury Bulldogs, Saturday 20th September, Allianz Stadium.

The Manly Sea Eagles will come up against the Canterbury Bulldogs in a Saturday night clash; one team will make it through to the next round of finals footy, with the other having their finals dreams shattered.  The Sea Eagles enter the match after an embarrassing lost to the Bunnies last weekend. Manly has struggles in its last two games, not showing the type of footy they are capable of during this time of year. The Sea Eagles are also missing key players in Anthony Watmough due to suspension and Glen Stewart to injury, both have a key role in the Sea Eagles attack. The Bulldogs are coming into the match after an extraordinary win against the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park, showing they are finding form at exactly the right time. Des Hasler has decided to start with the same 17-man squad that beat the Storm at home. This match looks as in favor of the Bulldogs but during finals footy and up against a team with an enormous amount of finals experience the result could go either way. Sportsbet.com.au have the Canterbury Bulldogs $1.62 head to head favorites, with the Sea Eagles stretching to $2.36.
